"I recently hired System pools to do a partial renovation to include tile replacement, reset the coping, caulking and fix my pool light, until I fired them for unresponsiveness, incompetence, poor quality workmanship. The main POC, Nick, had good references and was very responsive initially, but after a few days of work, they just left and never showed up to complete the work. They work that was done was very poor quality and needed to be fixed and completed by another contractor. Nick did not come back to fix the issues even though he admitted that the work was sloppy and said he would be back the next day. When I tried to contact him, his vmail was typically full and when I could leave a message he didn't call back for weeks. They replaced a pool light with a 120 watt bulb instead of the standard 12V and when it didn't work, Nick told me that there was an issue with my electrical wiring (NOT). I had to hire another contractor to clean up all the issues and an electrician to identify that they had put in the wrong bulb. In addition, they left bags of the renovation trash in my yard for 3 weeks after repeated requests to remove it. In addition, to lack of completion, unresponsiveness, poor quality and incompetence, Nick had an attitude when I tried to hold them accountable. The final straw was when they used a power washer on my pool which was placed on my pool decking and caused skid marks and indentations which have permanently cosmetically damaged my decking. I would have given them a Zero on the review if that were an option. Save yourself time, money and frustration and go elsewhere for you pool renovations."
