"It’s like they are actively trying to make it bad. The level of disinterest and indifference by the staff permeates throughout the entire experience. I never want to blame waitstaff in a restaurant because 9 times out of 10, the blame can be placed from the top down. All I can go on is what we experienced. We waited an inordinately long time to place our order at the bar. When we did, I ordered a pineapple margarita with the house made sugar free triple sec. The bartender kind of rolled her eyes and said, yeah we just don’t have that..like she was annoyed that I asked for it. It was on the menu! My husband ordered a $5 glass of red wine so he didn’t have very high hopes. Why would you even put a $5 glass of wine on your menu? It was definitely his fault for ordering it! We got chips and salsa while we waited. The salsa tasted like congealed ketchup water with some sort of gooey preservative goo in it. So gross. My margarita was basically tasteless. And, to me, presentation is everything. The whole bar seemed like an afterthought with staff lazily shuffling around and talking to each other loudly about back of house topics. They were all wearing oversized messy and sloppy looking sweatshirts with dirty looking unkempt hair. Shouldn’t there be some sort of standard to at least appear neat and clean and like you care a little bit about your job? A uniform maybe? Nothing about this experience was appealing, appetizing, engaging, or positive in any way. We will not be back."

"Came here on a Saturday at 1pm. Service was good and quick. Margaritas are delicious and good. Chips and salsa provided. Tacos were good, the slaw is really good. Had chicken and braised rib and both were delicious. Only knock was the side of rice wasn't very good. Otherwise good meal."

"Worse than typical mall food. The portions were absymmal. I got a taco bowl that was basically all rice which had zero flavor and a few measly pieces of (at least) day old rubbery chicken which also had no flavor. The mango habanero salsa has no spice to it and tasted old as well. My husband had the ground beef tacos which he said were just OK. They charge $1 for a side of sour cream and don't offer it as a normal topping on your tacos or bowls which is bogus. We got the queso elote which was cold when it came out. The house margaritas were mostly sprite. I didn't even finish one and I'm usually a 2 margarita person. Total lunch for a taco bowl, 3 ground beef hard tacos, 2 margaritas, and cold queso was $60. Wait staff were pleasant enough Our table was rickety and kepting moving throughout the lunch. Overall, avoid this place."

"Second time we have visited this place & it's quickly becoming a favorite! Staff is incredibly friendly & helpful & the food is reasonable & delicious. The spicy pineapple margarita is amazing! Also love the chips & guac!! Definitely recommend!!"

"Stopped into Barrio during a shopping trip for a light lunch with my son. Love the atmosphere and the decor. Service was on point and very friendly. The food was excellent and they have so many options for how you can get your tacos or bowls. Will definitely be coming back in the future."
