"My lady guest and I attended the performance of the "Hubcaps", a golden age '50's-'60's tribute band in their 48th year and they are still fantastic ! (The performance was held in the Oxford Community Center where the Tred Avon Players usually perform). The OCC was filled, standing room only with lots of dancing by this 70's something audience.. The performance was 3 hours with 2 short break in between. The large parking lot at the OCC overflowed. Tickets were $35, a bargain for such a wonderfully nostalgic music event for an aging audience by an equally aging band. I strongly hope we can bring them back for their 50th anniversary performance."
