"I was a walk-in for a broken tooth that had a very sharp edge, requesting an appt, and the staff asked me if I could stay a few minutes and have it looked at. They were able to provide me a filling the same morning. The staff, from the front desk to the assistants, to the dentist herself, was everything I could have hoped for! It made for a great dental experience! Thank you, Charles Town Smiles."

"Called Monday at 8:30 AM scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 2 PM. When I arrived, they told me the new insurance I recently enrolled for in july was only covered for pediatric dental. She told me to reach out to my employer and asked me if I like to pay out of pocket today. I told her I rather not if possible and I would call my employer. The provider told my employer that there was an error and that I could get service today out of pocket and be reimbursed by Highmark. I walked back in at 2:13pm to inform them what I was told, she didn’t offer me to keep my service for today which I expected and told me the next available appointment was October 20, 16 days away. I told her I would need to try to find something sooner than that her response was “so you are going to a different dentist? That’ll be a $75 cancellation fee” I literally laughed out loud at the unprovoked hostility and politely told her the email I received on Monday stated being over 20 minutes late would result in such fee. She told me about how she called me twice the day prior and I informed her that she called me from a number that looked like spam and did not leave a voicemail email or text. She told me to “leave the office and never come back.” Young lady beside her was just as confused as I was. I’ve honestly never been treated that poorly in a professional setting. When my family member called in to cancel an upcoming service, the same front desk lady gave her an attitude and started talking about my private conversation that I had at a physicians office. (we share last names) I’d love to know from the physicians what their motives in the dentistry industry are. Is it collecting 75$ late fees and pressuring uninsured customers to sign up for monthly maintenance or is it actually helping people with a cracked tooth that have nerve pain? I hope denying me service 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment is worth the six customers you lost in under an hour."

"Recently had my first visit at CT Smiles, after 35 years with my previous dentist. It was not a routine visit, I was in pain. Everyone there was so kind. They took me back at my scheduled time and explained fully what needed to happen. I will be making them my regular dental office!"

"First time client here! It had been two years since my last cleaning and exam. The hygienist was VERY thorough during my gum exam and gentle during cleaning. My hygienist got so excited over my healthy gums—it was hilarious. Definitely will be returning!"
