"Went crabbing and didn't catch any but it was nice there, my first time"
"Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge is a must visit for anyone that loves the outdoors. There is abundance of wildlife. The butterfly trail is amazing there are so many butterflies and skippers. The birds of prey are also abundant and the birder will love walking the trails. There are so many different bird species to look see. There are deer everywhere so please watch for them as you are driving. There are lots of trails to explore as well as a boardwalk. Don't forget to visit the gift shop and information center. It is a little out of the way; but, so worth the visit. There are also bathrooms if you are looking. The volunteers are a plethora of information on the area, the history and the wildlife."
"Perfect peaceful spot for a picnic and short walks near the Chesapeake."
"Very peaceful and well-maintained. I saw a lot of birds - bald eagles, vultures, red-winged blackbirds, turkeys. The butterfly garden is nice, also."
"What a fantastic few hours my husband and I spent exploring this wildlife refuge! The sounds of nature amongst the quiet backdrop really is something that revitalizes the soul. From seeing a majestic Bald Eagle set high upon his perch to the greetings of the butterflies and dragonflies really made our visit special. No worries of the world when you spend time here completely wrapped in the arms of nature."
