"It was a really nice place, lovely staff and rooms clean and beautiful. It was somewhat expensive but it deserves it, also some mates found ants in their rooms. But anything else was really amazing, nice experience."

"I have been to this location in the past. Unfortunately, when I tried to book an online reservation for a room, we couldn't do it because the website was asking for private information such as the social security number and the wedding reservation number. I should've tried booking the reservation over the phone so that this issue wouldn't happen (if they would let us). Plus, when I stayed here in 2009, the water park was too loud and I vomited when I was trying to eat dinner there and the TV's were outdated. By this point, if you try to book this location online, anyone that tries to do so should do it by phone. I would try going to the Villages at Pocono instead where everything is more dated and much cleaner. Split Rock isn't as good now as it used to be."

"My family and I visited Split Rock the week of the Christmas holiday and had a great time. My children really enjoyed their time at the water park. The rooms were warm, clean, and comfortable. Service was prompt, and management as well the staff greeted everyone kindly and always asked if we needed assistance."

"Water Park Review - Wave pool and big water slide not working. Boogie board area sloooow. They did have two hot tub areas, but one is completely gone, the other not available. Asking numerous staff about Wave pool, finally went to desk to ask, to be told, "every 15 minutes." Explained we had been there for over an hour, they then said they were sending someone to look at it. Never worked. No announcement. Big water slide (twice as long as smaller) was not staffed. Boogie board had to have water manually cleared before it could be started. Old, tired equipment? Pretty good time for little kids. No longer worth it for teens and adults."

"We came for a short family get away and this was a hidden gem. Not too crowded, the rooms were clean and spacious. Our suite was well appointed and we were able to spread out. Aside from the children running in the hall, I have no complaints about the hotel. The scenery here is gorgeous, you just have to be mindful of the deer at night. We had a doe cross in front of our truck on the very first night."
