"This place has been taken over by foreigners. Which I normally would not care. But I had an interview there once. The manager didn't even let me speak. Just assumed I got and wanted the job. Made me feel so uncomfortable. I worked there years ago. But odd place to work now. I couldn't tolerate a pushy manager and uncomfortable environment."
"We chose this hotel because it was closets availability to Idlewild. We got here around 8pm on a Saturday night. Walking in there was an odd smell in the hallways and they were very humid for such a cool night. Google maps brought us in through the back so we had to find the front desk which is located in the lobby. We had to walk down 3-4 flights of steps to find it lol. Some how when booking through Expedia we booked for October 16th not September 16. Mark at the front desk explained weβd have to contact them to switch the date. We did after a good 45 minutes of runs round from them! He was very pleasant with us and got us into the same room we had already booked. Once we got to our room I was very happy to see how clean it looked and how good it smelled. The air conditioning was on so the room was a nice cool temperature as well. The beds were so comfy!! The pull out bed to the couch was nice and clean and there were clean sheets and a blanket for it as well. Again the beds are comfy!!!!! When we got up the next morning we of course came down to breakfast. I expected a mediocre breakfast with just bagels and cereal, but that was not the case! There was a fresh waffle making station, fresh scrambled eggs, sausage links, yogurt, bagels, cereal, toast, cheese danishes, coffee, both apple and orange juice. It was a very good breakfast and my two kiddos were very happy along with the hubby lol. All in all this was a very pleasant stay for our family. I like to think Iβm picky when it comes to hotels because sometimes they seem nice on the web, but once you get there they are a hotel from hell!! I am happy to report that this one is not! If we are ever in the area again. We will for sure stay here:)"
"My husband and I stayed here with our 2 youngest children. Chose the hotel due to it being the cheapest we could find in close proximity to idlewild Park. Not disappointed in the hotel at all. The halls have a strange smell and were very humid, but our room smelled fine and the A/C worked great! Mini fridge and microwave were both functional and very clean. Beds were super comfy and I saw nothing that looked like stains or dirty on them. Carpet and couch in the room were both clean as well. The bathroom was also very clean, though you could tell where they had painted over some mildew or something on the ceiling. Toilet and tub/shower/shower curtain were all very clean looking and functioned as they were meant to. Nice sized vanity counter and mirror to get ready and lay your stuff out, and included a hair dryer which was a nice bonus since I forgot to bring mine. The lobby was large and offered some snacks and drinks for saleshould you need any. The free breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious! Both mornings the staff that worked the breakfast were on top of the demand and super friendly. We also used the pool, which was clean and the perfect temperature, though the entire pool area needs some TLC. The cement around the pool was cracked and uneven in some places, the pool ladders were a bit wobbly, and the pool was missing/losing some pieces around the edges, BUT the pool was private and not in the publics line of sight as it is surrounded by walls in a courtyard and our boys had a blast swimming so it was a win for us nonetheless. Front desk staff also very friendly and helpful."
"We had a very good experience during our stay at the Ramada Ligionier. The only hiccup was the onsite bar/restaurant was closed. That really wasn't an issue as there are so many to choose from within walking distance. Extra added bonus the Sunday night concerts at the Town Hall (within walking distance). Every staff member we saw was very nice."
"Pros Nice and close to idlewild. The room was clean The staff was nice Had baby pen available Didn't use pool but looked nice Decent breakfast eggs and sausage waffles and bagles and cereal Cons Low water pressure Couldn't keep shower water at a good temp, which kept fluctuating The breakfast room was too small The one lady who had to stock breakfast had a hard time keeping up with demand for food."
