"I just moved here from Michigan. I moved here with no family or friends. I moved here for a job and to build my career. That means I go out to eat by myself. I’ve been to the establishment now three times since moving here because I love Vietnamese food. All three times I’ve experienced being an outcast because I’m dining alone. Every time ive been placed at the tiny sushi bar area with no space, facing the sushi making chef. I don’t even go there to order sushi and I prefer having personal space. I gave this establishment the benefit of the doubt the first two times thinking they were at peak times or a tad busy. One of my dining experiences I was told I couldn’t have a table or booth unless I had a reservation, however I didn’t see any signs stating that! I also saw no reservation signs at the tables. My third time dining there was tonight at 5 PM on a Tuesday so they were very slow and all of their tables were open. I walked in and asked for a table for one and they immediately tried to shove me at the sushi bar, and I spoke up and I said no I would prefer a table or a booth. I immediately was gawked at, side eyed, and treated differently but I got a booth. Then proceeded to be ignored and was offered no refills my entire dining experience or napkins. I had to ask for both. In my past life I was a server for many years. I know staff doesn’t like serving single top tables but that’s not excuse to treat them differently or shove them at the worst seating arrangement or deny them a table for dining alone. I probably won’t be back here. Don’t dine here alone if you want to be treated the same as people who come with family and friends"

"I'm giving five stars because it's not fair to give less since I didn't get the food but wanted to offer advice to new diners. Make reservations, and don't waste your time if you didn't. I waited 50 min for a table and finally left. Of course about 10 min after leaving I was called and told a table was ready. I was originally told it may be a 15 min wait but every five minutes a new group of people would be seated in front of us, who, I am assuming had reservations. Just be honest upfront if the wait time is going to be an hour. Maybe this was an unusually busy night. It seems like a better system could be implemented for walk ins Never did get a chance to try the food. It must be good food based on no seating available."

"Absolutely love this place! They have some incredible curries and the sushi is always on point. Flavorful and nice proportions on all meals. Would definitely recommend the roti and curry appetizer and the mango sticky rice dessert or the roti and ice cream. Their roti has a crispness to it that is new to me but takes fantastic almost like a fried bread."
