"Stay far away if you work in the oilfield industry. I travel for work and stay in a lot hotels all over especially in oilfield towns most are accommodating towards us especially with our long stays most change their breakfast hours to help the people that work 5am to 5pm be able to have breakfast. This place doesn’t cool not a big issue but this morning I was able to go in a little later and was leaving at five went to get my morning coffee and there’s a big breakfast sign near the door I walk around get coffee and notice there’s bacon grab a plate and got yelled by at by staff saying breakfast is at 5:30 why do you think that big sign is there you would think I took the bacon out his mouth the way he acted instead of losing my cool I say didn’t think much of the sign and didn’t think 30 minutes was a big deal I walk away but zero respect was giving to me at all after spending thousands to stay here. I will be calling to file a formal complaint and talking to my company about no longer booking here because that was uncalled for and unnecessary. If you can’t handle the hospitality industry don’t work there i thought I booked a hotel not a prison cell with extra correctional officer treatment."

"Was here for a few hockey games and didn’t want to stay 1+ hours away for a 1 night stay. I was hesitant as pics showed room doors to the parking lot and those hotels are sometimes a bit sketch. Positives : The carpets, bathroom, seemed to have been recently redone and I was impressed with the cleanliness. Staff were friendly and while I did not get to eat the breakfast I had heard it was a decent spread. The convenience of the rink right across the parking lot made it great. And a gastropub also on site was perfect for post game cocktails with other parents. Negatives : the room smell was musty. Not unbearable but the AC units while working I think was the culprit. It was one night so I wasn’t overly concerned but if staying multiple nights that may be something to consider. The doors to rooms were hard to lock. One parent thought his was closed and fortunately one of the others on the way back to their room recognized it wasn’t closed and pulled the room door completely shut. Another parent mentioned that they had an adjoining room door and it was unlocked, he just assumed it would have been handled / locked by housekeeping from the prior stay. In my shower there was a ceiling tiles that needed replacement. I believe at one point a leak from the room above stained it. Not a big deal to me. It if you are expecting the Ritz Carlton you may want to try another location. All things considered this was not a bad place for a 1 night stay. If the room did not have the musty smell I would have gone 3.5 -4 stars for a temporary stay."
