"I am sure they are capable of doing something but in my case they only delayed till the matter was about to go in court. I was saved by an accountant who re-filed my taxes and spoke to the IRS agents who were more than willing to work with. I paid over $20K for absolutely nothing. The accountant who fixed my taxes was surprized how can anyone miss out the mistakes and not use them to get it fixed. He charged my less than 2 hours of F$A fee. I am sorry to say, greed may have taken over. I agree, I was scared of an audit and had no knowledge - but that's why you go to a lawyer?"
