"The service was great and the atmosphere(except the TVs) was fine as well. We ordered steamed veg gyoza which was very good. Then we ordered lunch specials with Thai Green Curry and Malay Red Curry veg with Tofu. Both came with soup, and the Miso soup was sub par, but the hot & sour soup(which was vegetarian) was better than average. However, the most disappointing part were the entrees. Both the curries tasted like they were made with curry paste from grocery store and had too much salt. II wanted to walk away and eat at another place, but ended up eating there to not waste food. The vegetables were very fresh, but the sauce and fried tofu were very disappointing. I would not come back to this place."
"It seems to be a Chinese, not Japanese owned restaurant (even though the name is Japanese). Had a ramen, but it was tasteless. Service was "okey"."
"My wife and I were posted up in Morristown hospital recovering from the birth of our first child. The hospital food is so bad and we decided to order take out from Aikou for our last night in recovery. We ordered the Pad Thai Chicken (outstanding), Pork Gyoza (outstanding), Basil Thai Chicken (wife said it was good, not great, but she has very high standards), and the Scallion Pancakes (good, not great). The soy sauce had a tangy twang to it and I just wanted to drink it. This was a very special treat for us, and we excited to go sit down in the restaurant next time."
"After the outdoor art show on the lawn, my partner and I gathered quite an appetite and decided on Aikou on the busy South Street in Morristown. Their menu is inspired by the promise of Asian fusion cuisine, such as Japanese, Thai, and Chinese foods. We don't know too much about sushi, but there are plenty from which to choose. The interior was huge and contemporary, and the tables were well-spaced. All patrons, including ourselves, sat outside on a warm spring afternoon, people-watching as we ate our meals. As for starters, we shared their scallion pancakes, which were not greasy, and the filling was tasty with a rice wine and soy mixture. For entrees, we ordered crispy sesame chicken and chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai had a slight kick. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. The prices were a bit higher than at other Asian places, but the quality of their food was worth it. Their servers were attentive without being overbearing. We can recommend this place."
"They have a large variety of Japanese food. Their service is great as well. You dont need reservations. Price is competitive."
