Chincoteague Paddlesports

"My daughter rented kayaks for us to paddle out for the pony swim. The equipment was great, and he even set us up with another family with channel access and more experience, and they were great too! We didn't have the means to pick up or drop off the equipment and it wasn't a problem at all. Friendly, helpful, convenient... we'll rent from them again when we come back to the island!"

"We reserved a morning tour and they were in constant contact with me the night before due to the weather. Our tour was moved to a little later in the morning, but that allowed the winds to calm. We paddled with 2 kids and 2 adults. Our guide, Jack was very patient with us and very knowledgeable about the island. He did a great job and we had a great kayak tour!"

"Was going to do a tour but decided to rent a Kayak instead. Best decision ever! They were so wonderful to us and directed us to where we can find ponies. He even gave us his cell if we had any issues and transported the kayaks for us. Definitely coming back!"

"Captain Jake took us out on a guided kayak tour through the back bay of Chincoteague and Assateague Island. We were just going to rent kayaks from him but didn't really know where to go since it was our first time to ever kayak. That did not faze Captain Jake from getting us on the water though. He quickly offered to guide myself and a few others on a sunset tour. His knowledge of the area and the tides allowed us to go at the perfect time. (His definition of the perfect time was to make sure we timed out the tide so we were never were paddling against the current.) Thankfully we listened to that advice as it made for one of the most peaceful and beautiful experiences of my life. Thank you Captain Jake and Chincoteague Paddlesports!"
