"The staff here all need to just be replaced. Why have human staff if all they do is direct you to a website that is definitely not built effectively."

"It was a really nice get away that was not too expensive. The fishing was good, lots of crabs at night, and the log cabins were really nice. They had a huge pool with extra stuff in there for the kids, playgrounds, grills, volleyball nets, tennis & basketball courts, and put-put golf. If you are an eligible patron and in the DC area, I highly recommend visiting."

"As for a Military Rec Ctr, this place is huge. DoD ID is required to use the facilities. They have Cabins, Cottages, RV (FHU) sites, Tent sites, Pools, Tennis Court, Driving Range, Nature Trail, Fishing/Crabbing Pier, Pavilions w/grills, and much more. On my morning walks, I've seen Deer, Ground Hogs, Rays, Crabs, Canadian Geese and plenty of small local birds. Other than I wish the grass was mowed at our RV site, the place has been very enjoyable."

"Big park! Has a gym, a fishing pier, small beach. This location is on a rec site so NX, commissary and fuel are separate but not far."

"We used to full time here and enjoyed it. Everything north of Fox Ave is packed like sardines. We preferred the more private area at the south end of Overlook Road. Occasionally, there were family reunions staying in tents making noise but for the most part people were respectful of the area. It's very windy here especially in the winter time. The bridge traffic back and forth to the Base is very heavy and that's why we left."
