Captain Dan's Around The Island Tours

"My husband and I had the absolute best time. This tour has been on my list to do for 10 years. My husband was initially doing it to be being a good sport but ended up loving it as much as I did! Captain Dan made this trip fun, and educational. We learned so much about the horses but also about the area, the people and the history. We were thrilled we were able to get an up close to view to the horses. There is never a guarantee of course as these are wild animals in their natural habitat. As amazing as it was to get to see the horses, honestly the tour and Captain Dan’s personality is such that had we not seen horses we would have still had a great time and considered it well worth the time and money. Our bonus sighting was a bald Eagle nest and two bald eagles!"

"Our group thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were very lucky to get up close to the ponies. One pony touched her nose to the boat!! That’s how close we were. We saw a pink flamingo, lots of ponies and a bald eagle. The weather was perfect and the Captain was so knowledgeable and funny."

"We decided on a 2 pm tour since we normally take the morning tour and wanted to try something different. Also, this was our first time with Captain Dan's Island Tours. We had a great time! Very sunny but the boat had a nice canopy to keep us shaded the majority of the time. This was the first time we have been able to travel to the northern part of the island and see the northern herd. We didn't see any dolphins, but did see a bald eagle in flight. We got super close to the ponies and spent a nice amount of time there ensuring that everyone could get the photos they wanted. Highly recommend Captain Dan's!"
