"They have recently revamped the kid-zone and it’s so amazing! They have great programming and made it such a safe and fun atmosphere. Arts and crafts, sports, toys… and the childcare workers are so kind. It’s been the best!!! Such a great job my kids love it"
"I have been a member of this Y for a few months, due to it being so close to me and offering childcare I stayed despite not loving the equipment and it was okay up until today. I went in to work out later than my normal time, so I didn’t know the workers, I normally work out in the morning 4-5 x a week (the gentleman who works that shift is so kind) however today, I was in the weight room and asked to cover up or leave. I explained I wear the same type of outfit every day I work out and it’s never been an issue. I canceled my membership and left. I understand dress codes and rules, my issue was that it’s never been an issue until today, I see others wearing the exact same thing, and even thong bikinis in pools/outdoor area? Completely unacceptable to make me feel extremely uncomfortable and have to leave over my outfit, that I wear, daily. I have attached photos, of the outfit, in golds gym because I canceled with the y and joined there right after and was warmly welcomed (:"
"The membership cost is exorbitantly high and disappointingly, it does not even cover access to amenities like the indoor tennis court or outdoor pool - they come with additional charges. The cleanliness of the bathrooms is lacking and the whole facility feels dated. The most annoying aspect is the extra fees for tennis and the outdoor water park, piled on top of the already steep monthly fee. I wouldn't endorse this YMCA."
"I gave this location one star simply because of the rudeness as I'm standing right in front of them. I walked in, I was on a call I stood to the side finished my call and walked to the front desk. I didn't want to be rude by holding a conversation while trying to get assistance. I asked could I have a tour of the place, the young lady who's propped up with her feet on the desk looked the young man and asked "Seriously, like right now?" And there was a brief pause as if time stood still. She then stopped another young lady whom I assumed was helping a customer and asked her to give me a tour. The young stopped talked stared at her and said "Yeah, give me a min". She hops up and starts the tour at lightning speeds she goes "Here's the gym it has free weights, here the basketball court..." she mentions another room and turns me and say "Oh wait I didn't even get your name nor did mention mine"... I told her that I longer wanted the tour explained the rudeness and walked out. This place would get my money I'd drive to another Y at this point."
"I have been going to the YMCA here for ten years. They have a fantastic heated Wellness Pool as well as a second pool for laps. Their equipment is all up to date for cardio and lifting and they have adequate machines so you are never waiting for a machine. They have basketball courts, racquetball courts and offer a wide variety of classes and programs to help you exercise. The staff has always been great to me. This is the place to go!!"
