About the Business
Parklawn Pool is a community institution located at 6011 Crater Place in Alexandria, Virginia. Our members are invited to participate in clean-up day, where we thank them in advance for their time and dedication. We also extend our gratitude to the Board and all those who have been working hard during the off-season.
In light of current guidelines from the CDC, state, and county, Parklawn Pool has implemented a plan for COVID operations. The safety and well-being of our members is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a clean and enjoyable environment for all. "Family friendly Z shaped 25 meter swimming pool with depths ranging from 2.5 to 6 feet. 2 dedicated adult lap lanes. Plus large 12 foot deep dive well and 10' by 15' by 12 inch deep kiddie pool. Plaground, basketball court, covered picnic area. Quiet with plenty of parking. Parklawn Piranhas, NVSL swim team since 1958."

"we have been members off and on for 30 years. this is definitely a family centered neighborhood pool. all the members contribute to the maintenance and activities at the pool with organization and coordination by a seriously organized volunteer board. My daughter is a certified lifeguard and pool manager and she only swims at Parklawn, never at other facilities because she knows how Parklawn is cleaned and maintained. I wish that people who have nothing to do with the pool would stop giving opinions that have no basis in fact."
