"I used to really enjoy shopping here. However, the last few times I have encountered rude remarks from the one cashier, to myself and other customers. Yesterday 7/17/2023 was another example. I was purchasing two household essentials, not a big order, I need to stay on budget right now until pay day just like most people. When asked if I would like to purchase something for Operation Homefront, I politely declined and explained, "I am in the store so often that perhaps next time I will." To which the cashier said, "Yea that's what they all say." Now I am not a person who has a lot of money to spare to begin with; but I still try to contribute to such charity fundraisers at retail businesses whenever I can because there is usually an incentive tied into it for the store to do well. But that comment really put me off as well as the three customers behind me. I don't know about them, but the Lehighton location is the same distance from my home,so I think I will go there from now on. At least there, they say ", Hello! I will be up there when you're ready", instead of the obvious eye rolling customers get when we walk in to the Walnutport one."
