"I am an IHG Diamond Elite member and this is the first time that I have encountered that Diamond Elite parking was the furthest parking spots away from the door. It was a torrential downpour of rain, I had driven 14 hours and parked in Diamond Elite because everything closer to the door was taken. Way to take care of your Diamond guests HIE Grasonville. I mentioned it to the front desk and they seemed uninterested. Do better IHG."

"This hotel is our stopping point when traveling between Florida and New England. We have 2 stops booked there for December. Great restaurants close by. Left some expensive prescriptions in the mini fridge one trip by mistake. Before I even realized they were missing the staff had them in the managers fridge and I picked them up on the way back through."

"We used for a wedding room block. They did a fabulous job handling multiple wedding groups, very friendly staff, helped hand out wedding itineraries. The rooms were wonderful. Overall fabulous experience."

"Stayed for two nights, sharing a room with my mother. Room did not have a “do not disturb” door hanger for the outside of the door, so our room was cleaned when we didn’t want it to be. Hotel has one elevator for three floors, which is slow, so I usually took the stairs. Hotel was overall VERY clean and there were no smells anywhere, maybe because of the recent renovation. The last night, our air conditioning had gone out and I could not get it back up. Mickey (sp) at the front desk was really great at 1:1:30 pm and gave us a second room for the night so we could get some sleep. We weren’t required to move our stuff out of the first room, which my mother stayed in and we both got a good nights sleep. All of the staff here was very friendly, no attitude or problems, like you seem to run into at a lot of places these days! If it’s not $322 a night next time, I’ll be back!"

"Stayed here with my son overnight on our way to college check-in. Although it looked clean and tidy, the first room we were given had an extremely strong mold odor. I can't imagine that anyone would have been able to stay in that room without dire concequenses to their breathing. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to another similar room. There was at least no argument and no denial of my assertion of the smell. On our way to exchange room keys we rode the elevator with another patron who was changing rooms for the same reason. The second room we were given was much better, smell wise, but after leaving and coming back we did detect a slight odor. Additionally the room had peeling wallpaper due to water damage and the toilet was very loose and wiggly. There were other smaller issues as well, but the biggies were very big. We chose to stay here instead of the Hilton Garden as it was slightly cheaper, next time I'll pay the extra money. I scrutinized the reviews to try to make sure I wasn't making a mistake, but was not successful. I will not choose this brand again."
