Reviews of New Imperial
"This is our 2nd time ordering here. The 1st time, luckily I checked my order before leaving because 3 of the 4 rice orders were wrong. Other than that, DELICIOUS! The second time was tonight, and my order of pineapple chicken was just terrible. No flavor and watery. I wish they would have just told me it was not available, rather than throw it together for me. The cost of the food is very high, so I expect to get what I pay for. My husband ended up sharing is beef and broccoli with me, which was delicious."
"the lady who took my order had a bad attitude and definitely hates her job. the food was flavorless and left a disgusting after taste in my mouth. the beef lo mein and fried dumplings were actually so bad i ended up spitting them out as soon as i took the first bite. the beef sticks were ok but again, no flavor. i tried to eat the eggroll but it was soft and chewy.. not crunchy like a good eggroll would be and it also left a gross taste in my mouth. i ended up throwing everything away, and it’s rlly upsetting cus that was supposed to be my dinner. what a waste of $25, especially in this economy. the sign outside says they’re low on staff and it makes sense, i wouldn’t want to work for a business who serves its customers low quality garbage like that either. remember that customers are not made of money and literally cannot afford your mistakes/shi*ty service!!"
"This is the place I've been looking for. A lot of Chinese restaurants are sacrificing taste with lower quality ingredients to make things cheaper, but not here. When I ate here I was brought back to the times of good. 10/10 white meat General Tsos. It actually has a little warmth unlike other places (thankfully). You will not be disappointed with this place's food!"
"New Imperial is by far away my number one choice in Chinese food in the Easton area and beyond. A clean place, the people that work there are always friendly, they are quick, even for a Chinese food place. Their quality of food just stands out above most places. And they are the only place that I am aware of that actually gives you the good kind of fried noodles. (The bigger flat ones). I’m not sure if they make them in-house, but it seems like they do. They actually have flavor and are legitimately “Fried”noodles. Not those lame, tiny, bread-y, bland variety you usually get. Either way they are delicious and they give you an actual cup of sauce rather than those stupid packets. Their rice is never dried out, they have delicious edamame, which is another rarity, and pretty much everything I’ve tried there has been outstanding. I would highly recommend New Imperial!"
"Consistently the best Chinese food in the area. Prices may have gone up a little bit, but that’s to be expected. They always go above and beyond with delivery and packaging requests. We asked for an order of dumplings - 1/2 fried and 1/2 steamed as well as won ton soup with the broth separate so it wouldn’t get soggy and they were great about it! I’d recommend New Imperial every time."
