"Check-in was easy. The pool is very nice, clean and aesthetically pleasing. People of all ages can enjoy various parts of the pools. Lockers are helpful. Staff was friendly and pleasant. They were also doing their jobs by monitoring the area well and communicating with one another about rotating posts. Can’t wait until next summer."
"The pool and facilities are actually pretty nice. The staff and management, not at all. There are these exceptionally stupid rules they insist on enforcing. Here everything is flipped. Shirt? Shoes? Gtf out of here, what does this look like, some kind of civilized place? I'm not even exaggerating. Here's an actual exchange I had with a staff when I walked in: -sir you can't have a shirt in here -why? -it's cotton. You can't swim in a cotton shirt -I'm gonna take it off -can't. Has to go in a locker -what am I allowed to bring in here [He lists off some things, including a towel. I hold up my towel] -this is also cotton -yeah but that's a towel. You're not swimming with that -why can't I just put the shirt with the towel? -we get that question a lot -yeah I'm sure you do It is actually precisely as stupid as it sounds. Nonsense like that and a conspicuous lack of furniture (no umbrellas, no lawn chairs at all) make and otherwise good experience mid at best."
"Enjoyed my visit but there was a teen working here who kept asking me to take my shorts off as I was going to the 5ft and up. I’m well to my knowledge to know not to wear shorts in the pool. He didn’t ask the person I was worth to remove her romper a bit uncomfortable after that visit. & was persistent about such. That needs to be addressed."
"Went to Afram. The park was pleasant until the insects swarmed all over the crowd. I'm not understanding why the grass was not treated before the festival. I've been to other parks, and this is not an occurrence. The park management needs to consider this option when there are large activities like this that are planned."
