"Our salesman was great. Getting someone to answer the Monroeville stores phone is absolutely horrible!! They called us yesterday but my phone is broken and won't take messages. We have no idea if my ring came in or not because no one answers the phone number and extension."

"I was racially targeted today and my heart is so heavy. I visited Macy’s Monroeville looking for a Christmas gift for my fiancé. I went directly to the Ralph Lauren section my fiancé’s favorite brand. There were 3 shoppers total in the department, 2 on one side and me the only one of color in the sweatsuit section. I was there for just a few minutes when the Macy’s security guard came out of nowhere to stand directly next to me and only me. I received the message loud and clear. I told him just because I’m a black woman and my hair is in locs doesn’t mean I’m a thief and promptly left the store. I’ll spend my money in an establishment that looks at me as a person first and not a criminal just because of the color of my skin."

"I needed a new Laura Mercier Caviar Mascara so I stopped at the Dior counter to ask for directions to where it would be located if Macy's carried it. Darla was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable. She explained she wasn't sure if they had it & advised Dior had 4 different mascaras she could show me. She walked me over to where the Laura Mercier would be if they had it & they did not. I explained to her how Mercier was the first mascara I'd used where I loved both the brush and formula. She brought me over to their mascaras and explained each one and the types of brushes. When I selected the one I wanted to try she gave me several different sample brushes to try out as well. I told her that Jadore is my perfume and she showed me the new fragrances they had, explained the bases i.e. water vs alcohol and gave me a few samples. She also told me about their upcoming make-up event. She was the absolute best and I will definitely be returning to try more of their products. I love this DiorShow mascara!"

"I had scheduled an appointment at Bobby Brown in Monroeville Mall Macy's for my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. I was running late as I was getting my hair done. I called and Hope told me I could still come. She did a fabulous job on me and made me feel like a queen!"
