"Way overly priced! They don't have the kiddie pool anymore. If you don't look like them they will harass you and you get what I'm saying there is absolutely no diversity in this part of town."
"They doubled the price from last year and now charge $15 per person. Outrageous for the size (or lack there of) of this pool. It’s supposed to be a community pool. What family can afford that?! They are now the most expensive pool around. Even the large pool in York is $14 a person until 5pm when it drops to $9. Caledonia state park’s pool is $7, Codorus state park’s pool is $7 for residents, Westminster’s community pool is $10, Manchester’s community pool is $12, Emmitsburg’s community pool is $6. Littlestown also doesn’t offer the $5 from 4-6 anymore when all the others I just listed offer discounts of at least half off after 4 or 5pm. Go to Codorus. It’s a way better pool, bigger, cheaper, has a splash pad and they offer the $4 after 5. Only about 15 minutes away from the Littlestown one. Shame on the YMCA for pricing the community out of its only local pool that was originally a donation."
"Kicked out of pool for wearing Khaki colored shorts on because they are not "swim wear". But yoga pants and basketball shorts are ok. Way to pick and choose who to enforce the rules on."
"This used to be one of my favorite places to go swimming but after my experience today I don’t think I’ll ever return! The last 10 minutes was enough to make me want to never go back, atleast until they get new lifeguards that actually know how to treat people and keep a place running smoothly! I should not have to worry about getting first looks, getting pointed at and getting laughed at by a life guard it was extremely disrespectful and I will not return until she’s fired"
"We really liked this pool! Just fyi, if your young child can not swim, they are required to wear a life vest (provided by the pool) or a puddle jumper. But the staff was super friendly when relaying this after we had already gotten into the pool with arm swimmers. They even got the lifevest for us so we didn't have to get out of the pool! Excellent customer service!!!"
