Reviews of Bombay To Burgh
"I have been here twice and each time the service was amazing. The staff there are always kind and they get the food out so quickly. Personally would recommend the B2B chicken, coconut curry, and the chicken biryani!! Any of their entrees can be made vegan which is awesome."
"Absolutely amazing experience at Bombay to Burgh! We live very close and had been wanting to try it for a while and hoped it could be a regular neighborhood place for us - and so glad we did! The food and service was phenomenal from start to finish. 10/10 deliciousness for everything - my belly was very warm and happy! We had the mango lassi, samosa chat, paneer kurkure, lamb B2B house special, chicken korma, garlic naan, and the ice cream and apricot special for dessert. Everything was perfection and I kept raving about it after we got home! can’t wait to come back regularly :)"
"The restaurant is very nice and clean. Service is welcoming and attentive. I chose the mushroom garlic marsala with chicken. It sounded very appealing to me. It looked spectacular when it was served up as you can see on the picture. however it was very bland, just lacking flavor overall and way too much oil in the sauce. I never thought that Indian food could be bland but this was. Even the garlic naan was a little bland. Sadly, this dinner was disappointing. I do realize all the positive reviews for this restaurant and I don't want to be unfair. Perhaps I just picked the wrong meal that was not to my flavor and that is completely subjective. I typically like chicken tikka masala that has a curry flavoring and I was missing that with this meal. I will try something different next time."
"Special place! Ever make a meal you like but never made before, so you use something from a box or a jar for ingredients? It’s fine, but not great. Then one day, you take your time and find a recipe that’s sounds perfect. You get fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch. Now it’s not great, it’s phenomenal. This is Bombay to Burgh. The ingredients are high quality and noticeably fresh. The food is fragrant, flavorful and soooo satisfying. It’s like having a cozy shared meal with friends. The food here is the kind that fills your stomach and soul. The owner and staff were very hospitable and kind. We will certainly be back. Highly recommend you try it right away!"
"A unique Indian restaurant with a great menu and a decent location. I saw all the amazing reviews and was very interested in trying the food out. I ordered the dahi Kabab, samosa chaat, and garlic naan. All the food was quite good. The dahi Kabab was one of the most unique items on the menu, and something I don't typically see in Indian restaurants. It is a yogurt patty that is pan fried. The texture on the inside is in between cottage cheese and greek yogurt. Very nicely pan fried for crispness. However, I personally wasn't that big of a fan because it included a ton of onions. Onion wasn't listed as an ingredient on the site, so I would have not ordered if I had known it contained so many onions. It was also my first time trying samosa chaat, although I am a big fan of samosas and chickpeas. It was really good! The portion was great for the price. Chaat had a nice balance of sweetness (some from the sauce and pomegranate) and savoriness. Lots of chickpeas and very well made samosas. Yogurt wasn't my favorite addition but not bad. Not too spicy at all. Very high quality and would definitely recommend. The garlic naan was also pretty good. It was relatively standard, nothing too out of the ordinary, but good. They use a fair amount of chopped garlic. Not too buttery. Fair portion as well. I used it to soak up some of the delicious chickpeas from the samosa chaat. All in all, I can definitely see why this place gets high reviews. The food is made in house (even the breads), the menu is great, and the food is high quality. Give it a try!"
