"I bought an Ashley Furniture couch 20 years ago. I've been looking for a while to update, even though It's still very usable. Today I worked with Dory Angel at the Ashley Furniture store in Gaithersburg, MD and found my new couch. Dory was great - he helped me decide what I wanted by knowing what products fit my needs and budget and showing me all options. All the Ashley staff were professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a very good experience."

"They don’t even deserve 1 star but I have no other option. I made the biggest mistake of my life on September 2nd 2023 by purchasing a 7pc bedroom set from Ashley in Gaithersburg. This is my first review online in 45 years so you can guess how PISSED I must be. NEVER EVER buy furniture from them as they are the biggest CROOKS, LIARS and have the WORST customer service on our planet EARTH. The furniture was delivered on 25th October and thanks to the delivery guy who damaged my wall while carrying the Chest. Guess what, he claimed the damage was already there. Everything that I bought is DAMAGED. With in 72 hrs of the delivery I asked them to take everything back but all I got from them was a lot of hold time and PHONE BANGING. They are forcing me to keep the DAMAGED furniture which I will not. I have filed a DISPUTE with Synchrony bank and will go further if needed. In the uploaded pictures you can see the DAMAGES and the big GAP between the mattress and the bed on both sides where I have to keep pillows so that my 10 month old baby boy doesn’t fall into. IF ASHLEY WOULD BE THE ONLY PLACE TO BUY FURNITURE- I’LL KEEP MY HOUSE EMPTY!!"

"They're simply telling lies. Please read the whole story if you want to buy something from them. We bought a mattress, TV stand, sofa, ottoman, lamp, and a throw blanket. Dory helped us during the whole time. I asked him 3 times if there was a fiberglass material in the mattress and he replied "Only Chinese mattresses have fiberglass". Because he replied 3 times that there was no fiberglass in the mattress I choose to believe him. But then 1 month later, the items arrived, and when I checked the mattresses label I saw the mattress contains %60 fiberglass! And unfortunately, this isn't the only problem. The TV stand is cheaply made and even if you assemble it right the drawer won't close entirely (the guys from the logistics firm that Ashley stores have an agreement with assembled it first and then as the drawer didn't close my husband took a look at it and realized that it is cheaply made). And the third problem is they said they can not deliver the lamp but we can come and pick it up from the store the next weekend. We stopped by that weekend but they told us it didn't arrive at the store you need to come up next weekend. And on top of these 3 problems, the sofa didn't fit the building stairs (my husband said if they can try in some way there was a chance to fit it but the guys from the logistics firm didn't bother and probably didn't understand my husband's idea because of the language barrier) so we had to return it. And of course, they didn't refund the full price. We told them all the problems we had during the whole time and gave them a chance to manage the whole situation but they never care, they're definitely good salespeople with their lies that's all. They'll probably write a so-called support comment but never take action so don't waste your money on these cheaply made store items."
