"I have recently purchased a good bit of stuff for a graduation party. In the past I have had a problem exchanging something without a receipt so I made sure to specifically ask when I was making these purchases..."can this be returned?" Being told yes as long as I keep my receipt.....apparently Dollar Tree does not understand the difference between return and exchange as I am now told I can only exchange item for item, store credit is not even an option. Apparently there has been some confusion during training that needs to be cleared up....return means the customer recieves money back for the item they are bringing back to the store while exchange means that it can be traded for a different item......I know the difference do you? Dollar Tree has been a go to for me but I have recently had more problems than the savings is worth."
