"Stayed here for 2 nights while in Cumberland Maryland and Berkeley Springs. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast was really good and the pool is very large. If you're looking for a budget friendly but clean hotel this is for you. The hotel is very close to the highway as well."
"This place isn't the nicest and most updated but it sure was in the best location. The service was great and our room was clean and looked actually good for a smoking room. Didn't have a smell which was a surprise. The pool was closed and must have been for awhile but I would go back."
"If I could give a 0 I would. Hotel immediately smelled like stale cigarettes/marijuana and mold. The isles where littered with extended stays trash and dirty linen. They advertise a heated pool, the indoor pool was colder than outside, the heat in my room stopped working and the shower ran in 5 minute intervals of hot and cold water. Unfortunately no management was to be found on the biggest check out and complaint day of the week. Luckily the front desk person(because she was NOT a lady) was able to produce a manager over the phone and then she threw the phone and left. After my phone conversation I returned the phone in the same manor it was presented to me and it’s just rough luck that no one was there to receive."
"Overall 3 1/2 stars, but I can only do wholes, so it gets three. I booked a room here while traveling for work. I chose this hotel since it was the only hotel I could find near where I was working that had both a fitness center and a pool, since I work out in the evenings. The location is good, the room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the pool was nice. This place has the vibe of a hotel that was a nice resort-style place in the '80s, but that has only maintained its old amenities without updating much. The outside hallways smell faintly of cigarette smoke, though my room did not, and the outside rugs were old and stained. Lots of people were there with dogs, since some of the rooms are pet-friendly. When I stopped for breakfast in the morning, it was quite good - biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon for me! As for the fitness center? It's one tiny room with a few dumbbells and three cardio machines, one of which actually works. There is a sauna and two locker rooms (men's and women's) as big as the whole fitness room. Advice to the management: ditch the locker rooms and expand the fitness center. Your allocation of resources here makes no sense! Oh, and the little restaurant right next door (Henny's, I believe)? Surprisingly good!"
