"Hello, China Lobster , in Lower Burrell is a very nice Chinese restaurant. They have great food ,nice selections, excellent service , and it quite a beautiful place ! Lots of parking , lots of seating , food is always hot and tasty. Nice desserts and three choices of soups... If you're close and hungry, stop in...I do not think you will be disappointed ! Make sure to admire the hundred gallon fish tank, as you are waiting to be seated. Which , there is hardly a wait ...God Bless you, Keith.."

"A Mixed Bag of Experiences at China Lobster Our visits to China Lobster have been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. On a positive note, the food here does justice to the rich tapestry of Asian cuisine, with flavors that are both authentic and satisfying. However, while the portions are artistically presented, they lean towards the smaller side, which might not sit well with those expecting a hearty meal unless you gorge on the buffet. The service deserves a mention, particularly one waiter whose enthusiasm and friendliness know no bounds. While his zeal is commendable, it can sometimes cross the boundary into being intrusive, leaving patrons looking for a more relaxed dining experience a bit overwhelmed. This isn’t necessarily our viewpoint but we’ve heard it from friends, relatives and even other wait-staff. Pricing is another area where China Lobster could improve. The bills have occasionally been higher than expected, which raises eyebrows, considering the modest portion sizes. We cannot help but comment that on several occasions they intentionally overcharged “thinking” they are taking advantage of a “spirited” customer. Transparency in pricing is crucial in cultivating trust with patrons, especially when adult beverages are involved. A particularly concerning incident involved a friend of ours being wrongly accused of not paying for their meal, a claim that was not only embarrassing but also quite surprising (and untrue) given their history of amazing generosity at this establishment, often tipping remarkably well despite these issues. Either the staff was confused, or it's another example of potential shadiness. In conclusion, while the food at China Lobster often hits the mark, the overall experience is marred by a combination of overzealous service, inconsistent pricing and highly suspicious charges, with a final nail in the proverbial coffin on something that should have been handled with more discretion and respect for loyal, regular customers."

"My wife and I had dinner at China Lobster. I had the Happy Family and a pork roll. My wife had the Subgum Pan-Fried Noodles. The place was busy and most people were getting the buffet. The Happy Family was hot and delicious with fried rice. My pork roll was excellent as well. My wife loved the Subgum Pan-Fried Noodles. Service was excellent and we were pleased."

"We always do pickup. It is always ready perfectly. The food is amazing. We’ve gotten Chinese food from many places and lobster is truly one of the best. We are very fortunate to have it close to where we live! And all the people who work there have been very kind and friendly."

"Love this place. I drive a little bit to come here but it’s so worth it. There’s only a few good buffets I know of in the Pittsburgh area anymore and this is definitely one of the best. Hadn’t been here since Covid but glad they’re back with the buffet and it is really good. Just like it was before. Lunch price has gone up but they all have."
