"The food is just plain bad. We ordered chowder soup, fried dumplings, shrimp tempura, pork lettuce rolls, some salad, and california gluten-free rolls. Out of all of these, the only half decent dishes were the salad and the soup. All the stuff from the main menu just flopped. It was barely edible. Every new shrimp I ate the less I wanted to eat the shrimp, leaving a barely touched plate. The shrimp looked like it was in a sweet sauce, being bright orange, but it was salty and barely had any taste to it. The rolls were also way too salty and without any distinct flavor except the salt. The only decent meals were a very cold salad and an overly-peppered soup. Basically, after being in many great restaurants in many parts of the world, it was just offensive to me how bad the food was for its price, especially. The staff was good. They were polite and helpful. However, they took some time to take the plates and never poured or refilled the drinks. The best thing about the restaurant is the interior. It's just great, the furniture is very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Unfortunately for the Soba restaurant I eat out to enjoy meals and atmosphere is just a part of it and with how horrible the food was I can't give this restaurant more than 2 stars."
"Came here with a large group. Our waitress did a tremendous job! No mix ups, everything was out in a timely manner, and everything was delicious. We shared meals so I got to try quite a bit. My favorite was the Scottish Salmon, the tuna tartare, pork dumplings, and the crispy tofu! The ambiance is very pretty and super spacious. Great spot!"
"I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will definitely be visiting again. The host was told it was my first time, so she guided us through the restaurant and its layout. We sat outside and our server, Savannah was prompt and attentive. We started with the short rib bao buns (my favorite), pork lettuce wraps, and the Soba California rolls. I absolutely loved my Korean-style Miso halibut. My friend enjoyed their teriyaki glazed Scottish salmon. For dessert, we had the corn mochi crumble. That may have been the best dessert I've ever had. It had texture and fresh, robust flavors. Every part of this culinary experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to those wanting a cool date night. The ambiance, music, service and food were all wonderful."
"Great time out here at Soba as always, came here for my birthday with a crowd of 13 people, they were very accommodating and nice"
"Great atmosphere, especially on the lower levels. The food was delicious, the gluten free options are clearly marked in the menu. We ordered Pad Thai and Korean-Style Miso Halibut, both were great. The pad thai is huge portion, we both had a bit and there was still a lot for lunch the next day! We also had to try the Chocolate Maki, of course. The desert wasn't as great as other things, but the presentation is spectacular. A great place!"
