Reviews of Goodwill Store & Donation Center
"The place was only good when they first opened there but now it’s a joke. The things in there are so over priced that you can buy them online used at a bargain. I stop in the store once in awhile thinking I could find a deal but all I see over price things and they don’t even give you a bag when you purchase items. They just want to sell you a bag the store is a joke."
"It is a shame that they can sell damaged and unusable items that were donated to them but not take it back if it is noticed after the item is purchased. I thought there was a quality control group to inspect and price items but now they do the pricing regardless of condition and it is up to the consumer to inspect thoroughly and if anything is missed, it is their loss. It is really sad that management will lose their jobs if they adjust prices because of condition, can’t sell items without a price, and will lose their jobs if they take back an item that is damaged - these are all items they receive for free. I can only hope for the community that those in charge start to care more about their consumers than their profits because it costs me something to have to put a purchase in the trash because it didn’t work when it got home or it has a hole that I missed in the store, but it would have cost them absolutely nothing to have taken it back since they got it for free. I definitely miss the old Goodwill and I doubt that those in charge will ever read this but other shoppers will."
"In my opinion this is the worst goodwill I have been too. I will definitely not be coming back to this store. I found a single barbie doll with her hand broke off, without a tag. I found another single barbie doll with a $1.99 . I took both items to the counter to ask how much for the doll without a tag. Showed her the single doll with a tag. Told her there were other single dolls back on shelf with $1.99. She told me she couldn't sell it to me without a tag. Really?? It was a broken toy and I was still willing to buy it any way. The manager also told me she couldn't sell it without a tag. But they would be putting it back on the shelf at a later time. After they would put a tag on it. What good does it have to have a manager that can't manage the store?? Do they forget this stuff is used and donated ?? It was just a used toy for a child. Then when I get out in my car, I realized that if they don't have your number on file. You get no discount. Worst store ever...."
"Only get 3 stars because its so clean otherwise its more like a 2. Really really hate their organization of the back by color makes it hard to go and look for what you're interested in like the other stores that have electronics sections. And their prices are a joke on anything other then clothing I go here to find deals not spend 2$ less then buying something new. I've been to many many good wills and this is in my bottom 5 easy never have anything of value furniture or electronics wise nothing in the display cabinets and never any good records the store has plenty of room and is spacious in layout but the clothing seems so spread out and takes 85% of the store when it could easily fit in 50% and leave room for more then clothing."
