"The gf and i went on a date here today. This place recently came under new management and I CAN NOT stress enough how much it has improved. The meat is tender and juicy, the staff is so polite and courteous. Would highly recommend. Definitely the best bbq around. We got the meat tray that had a little bit of everything and took half home to eat for dinner later. We will definitely return"

"From out of town staying at the adjoining hotel for a trip and I dined here 2 days in a row ( one late lunch & one dinner). Nice atmosphere with a good layout. I was seated promptly. Both days I had Katie (2nd time she was training Alex as well); both were personable, knowledgeable and attentive and gave fabulous service. The brisket was good. The baked beans were ok but appeared to be canned that had fresh diced onions and BBQ meat added, not bad but not thick like other BBQ places that I'm used to. Only had one small issue that the floor manager resolved quickly. I'd definitely come here again if I'm back in the area. I was impressed...!"

"The new GM Nick came around and introduced himself, he was very nice. Service tonight was much better than the last few times we ate there. Definitely would go back. It seems like there are some positive changes happening with the new GM, the food was delicious we had beer battered fish, fries and fried corn(would recommend) for 1 of the meals, the other was the Turkey Shooter sandwich and fries which was fantastic as well. Everyone was very friendly."

"If it wasn't for Sarah this review would be have been 3 stars. I will not give all the details but will say that no one came to our table to wait on us, until we went and asked to be served. (There was only 2 other groups in the restaurant at the time) When Sarah arrived she was very apologetic and kind - she took our order and when she came back with the drinks apologized again. Then she had to come back to the table and apologized because the ribs we ordered were sold out. She offered a substitution. The Cheese Curds were AWESOME! and the dipping sauce had just the right amount of kick. The pulled pork was also AWESOME! - The brisket was way to dry for my taste. Thank you Sarah for making the meal great!"

"We enjoyed our experience, the atmosphere, and the food. We got the sampler and fried pickles. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs were on point and Long Islands - tasty. My son ate two full orders of their fries. The best part was how the owner and staff make you feel. There is a cook named Carlton who made me feel like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Almost heaven - West Virginia."
