"Been coming here for years. Always a delight. Food is great and quick. Sushi is always good and fresh. Fun atmosphere. Parking can be a bit of a pain but sometimes you look out and get a spot right out front if you come early. The hibachi steak and shrimp is a favorite of mine."
"Not sure why there are so many positive comments about the food. The taste is average with mid-high prices (20-35$ entree). The main reason for giving score 1 is disgraceful service. Today it felt very rushed. Once the first dish landed on the table we were already asked if we are going to order more food or drinks. 2 min into the meal I already had check sitting next to me. However it all culminated with a snarky comment of the waitress while picking up friend’s signed bill - “only 2 dollars?” (On 20$ total). To be nice he corrected it to 12$, leaving the 60% tip in the end. Luckily she picked up his slip first, so I could correct my from 25% tip to 0. Not to mention that I was still trying to enjoy my dish at the time… Even if a guest leaves 0 tip, as staff of the restaurant you never publicly call out or shame people. You trash talk the customer with your colleagues in the back… This is a perfect example of whats wrong with US tipping culture. Why does someone feel entitled to 20%+ tip if they did absolutely nothing to make the experience enjoyable? The restaurant is in walking distance for me, but I’d much rather be treated with respect and eat a solid food for the price. “Time out time eat” is 5-10 min drive, and totally worth the effort."
"If you love sushi, you should try this place - so fresh and yummy. Great service and very friendly staff."
"Such a great neighborhood gem. Always busy, always good. Went there to celebrate my birthday with the family. We enjoyed everything!! Saki martinis are fabulous and the best, freshest, beautiful & tasty sushi around. Our waitress was kind and nice and overall did a great job. It was super busy (Sunday night) so the service was a tad bit slow; but nothing to keep us from returning."
"We wanted to try a local comfort food since staying in the area. We ordered the rock and roll, spicy tuna, philly, salmon roll, tonkatsu and udon. Sushi rolls were good. The tonkatsu was unfortunately dry. They were very busy so initial wait time was about ~35 minutes. The service was very spotty. We ordered, got our food, and were pretty much ignored the entire time except one water refill towards the end."
