Sawa Steakhouse Hibachi, Seafood, and Sushi Bar

"I went with my husband and a group of friends, this was my first time at this hibachi restaurant. I was very impressed. The food was amazing in my opinion. I got the chicken and scallop combo dinner, that came with rice and veggies, clear soup, and a salad. The clear soup was the best I've had. The broth was so flavorful, and the mushrooms were paper thin. The salad dressing tasted wonderful and the overall salad was very fresh, no stale pieces of lettuce. The dinner itself, was probably the best hibachi I've ever had. It was so full of flavor, and every bite was like a taste of heaven. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and was so tender and juicy. The scallops were amazing as well, they had a nice crispy crust, but would just melt in your mouth. The fried rice was the best I've had, and I can't stress enough about how much flavor there was. The veggies were very good too. There are usually a few that I don't like when I get hibachi, but I enjoyed all of them. The broccoli probably could have been cooked a little longer if I were to complain about anything, but it was still delicious. I had some left over that I ate for breakfast, and it was just as good heated up in the microwave. The staff were wonderful. Our waiter was so sweet, and he took very good care of our party of 7, plus 2 people that were seated with us. It was not very busy at the time, but a large party came in just after we got our food, and he was the only waiter we saw on staff. One of my friends has an allergy to pineapple, and he made sure that everything she got did not have any in it. And he was just overall very attentive. Our chef was amazing, very fun to watch and interact with. The overall atmosphere was nice. Everything looked clean and taken care of. The fan above the grill was very clean, and my husband could see a little into the kitchen, and he said it looked very clean and organized. The prices were very comparable to their hibachi/sushi places, maybe a little cheaper in some areas. Well worth it. This is probably going to be the new spot for family birthday dinners."

"Third and last time I order takeout from Sawa’s. This used to be my favorite place to get sushi from. Unfortunately, the last two times have not been a great experience. I placed my order online and arrive 10 minutes after it said it would be ready only to get here and be told it would be an additional 20 minutes. Just not acceptable and not considerate of people’s times. The lady said that they use a third party website and the readiness times are not correct. I put on my order that I wanted extra eel and yum yum sauce, I was charged for it but they weren't in my order. Get your website fixed and provide better customer service! Definitely not returning."

"Went to eat at Sawa Steakhouse, it was around 11:45am, so it was not busy at all. When we arrived there wasn't anyone at the door, but we didn't have to wait long. We were seated and our order was taken immediately. We order one order of Hibachi steak and chicken and on hibachi steak and shrimp they both came with rice. The portions were a decent size."

"Everything was wonderful and they kept giving us extra food. It was very fast service and no complaints. All of the workers were very efficient and pleasant. It is a shame that they have recently gotten some bad reviews because they provided a great experience for me and my party of 6. I will be back."
