"I went to look at a vehicle they had for sale. I currently own the same exact vehicle, which i have owned for over 15 years. The craigslist ad was nothing compared to what i looked at. The car was complete junk, with dents on every panel and the interior was trash with no key fobs and a lifter knock coming from the motor. Transmission was slipping, sun roof was not operable and leaked. Tears on the seats. Brake lines and fuel lines were rusted. It needed upper and lower manifold gaskets that were clearly leaking. It had absolutely no brakes. Ive seen nicer junk cars. He wanted 850 for it. I thought if the motor was good, i would offer him 500 which is way more than its worth. A running, driving car in this male and model that needs TLC is worth maybe 1000-1200. But after observing the lifter knock i figured id be nice, and still do 500, being scrap is 250 if you drive it there. I was very nice the entire time, trying to politly explain to him all of these problems and that i really want the car and ill deal with it for 500. He didnt even listen to anything i had to say, he was more interested in making a few extra hundred dollars on some person he can fool into believing it was a good fixer upper. I cannot believe how rude rob was. Do not go to these guys for anything. If he was like this to me, he clearly uses this same tacktic on his other customers. God help the person buying that car from him, absolitely unbelievable."
