"I have a sesame allergy. Before ordering, I told the waitress I am allergic to sesame. Ordered a $65 sushi boat and the rolls had sesame on them. Sent the rolls back to kitchen. The waitress brought out 2 rolls without sesame on the outside. Before I was about to start eating those rolls, the waitress informed me the spicy tuna has sesame oil in it. Sesame oil will put me in the hospital and the other roll had the tuna filling on it which indicates cross contamination. The waitress avoided the table until my partner finished the food I couldn’t eat. No apologies were given. I used to like this restaurant a lot but the carelessness of the chef and waitress is not worth the thousands of dollars the emergency room visit could cost me."
"Be warned: they put wasabi under the fish in all of the nigiri. It’s the true Japanese way after all, but I just wasn’t expecting it. The location is amazing right on the water, and they even have tables where you take off your shoes and your feet go into a large hole under the table. Cute inside for sure. They also have a lot of veggie rolls too!"
"This place served very good quality of food and had comfortable atmosphere. The servers were generally kind, but one of the servers had a little neutral face. However, that was not uncomfortable much."
"Delicious sushi and a nice change of pace compared to the pubs, bistros and other restaurants at Fell’s Point. All of the fish was fresh and we had a couple of their appetizers which were great. My only advice is to be conscious of the rolls with Old Bay, it was good but the flavor overpowered the sushi."
"Overall the experience is good. Food is good. Don't have too high of expectation though: this is Baltimore after all. But it's one of the best sushi place in town hands down. We had a sashimi boat and it looks fancy, taste good but not great. Had a live sea urchin boat and it's very visual and somehow taste; and it's the biggest sea urchin I've ever seen, ever."
