"I took my Toyota to J&P for a few years. While the owner seems to be a nice person, I had issues with their service. During an oil change they stripped the threads for the oil pan plug and then claimed they didn't do it. They had been the only shop to change the oil for over a year, so I know stripped it. They installed a rubber plug that worked, but always had me worried that it would give way. I also had them do a tune up. When I went to pick the car up it sputtered and stalled down the street. I got the car restarted and returned to the shop. The kept the car for several days and when I picked it up it still didn't run correctly. They never corrected the problem and the car ran rough for the next year that I owned it. Whatever they did also dropped the car mileage from 18 mpg to about 12 mpg. I'd highly recommend going somewhere else."
