"Not nice people very straight forward. I asked questions about the menu lady just keep saying To go To go . First time I had ever been there . Just not personable. I walked out with out ordering a thing . Next day I tried to call and place they just pick up the phone and hand up . Pretty sloppy business"
"I ordered online and included as additional comments no wasabi and extra ginger. My order was delivered with just a little ginger and wasabi. I called the place to notify and I was told that for online orders that field doesn’t get printed. Very disappointed they don’t include a note on the website."
"I've been ordering food from Wok to Go for all 16 (going on 17) years of its existence. It used to be a treat to go there, both for the standard fare and the sushi. Unfortunately, food quality and service have degraded substantially, to a point where I have decided I no longer want to do business with the restaurant. The writing should have been on the wall for me when just a few years ago, I witnessed, in person, an employee actually yelling curses at a customer and calling him "stupid" (!) because the customer was ordering from the hospital and the employee was impatiently demanding the room number. Kevin, who is or used to be the owner, is a very nice man, and so was the original sushi chef, but neither of them are ever there anymore. The woman who seems to run the place is *incredibly* rude. Every time she is there and I come in, she is shouting at the employees in Cantonese. She just seems totally miserable, and it truly ruins the whole experience. I've never complained to her, so she has no reason to be rude to me, but even coming in to pick up my food is unpleasant and feels like a chore. What's worse, the cooking is awful now. This evening I ordered the Happy Family Chef's Special. All of the vegetables were canned and not fresh, and boy, they tasted like it. The lobster tail tasted dry and off--with that characteristic ammonia taste that turning seafood gets--and there was little flavor to the sauce or the dish as a whole. My other two recent orders were both for Shrimp Egg Foo Young. I thought perhaps the first order was just a bad one-off, so I gave them another chance, but I regretted it. While the shrimp was fresh, the eggs were mostly burned and even black, and the gravy, which used to be the best I've ever tasted, lacked flavor or substance. There were also pieces of shell in the eggs! Truly, the only thing redeeming about Wok to Go anymore is their Wonton Soup, which is made fresh and quite good. But even that's not enough to justify getting a whole meal there. It feels like Kevin put this location on autopilot when he opened up the Greenbrier shop and has been completely hands-off since. I write this review with extreme disappointment. I never saw it coming. But if you're considering ordering from here, don't. Take your order somewhere else."
"UPDATE: I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager- apparently the lady who called me was the manager?! Yelled at me and talked over me the whole time when I was trying to explain how inappropriate that was. The WORST customer service ever. Trying to blame me because they don’t compensate their employees for gas! I live across the street! I will be telling EVERYOME I KNOW TO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ANYMORE. It’s a shame because their food is good- but getting a call from your delivery driver demanding a tip is NOT ok. It should be on the business to adequately pay for your gas. I reserve my tips and pay them upon delivery in cash for multiple reasons- one reason is so the tip won’t be taxable and the other reason is to weed out people like this who don’t deserve a tip! TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY, ESPECIALLY FOR POOR SERVICE! You have lost my business for such poor customer service. I will not be ordering here again!"
"This use to be the best place in bel air, well not anymore. The lady at the counter was rude when we picked up our food and then the seasame chicken was hard as a rock and dry and appeared days old. I ate maybe 1/3 the rest is going in the trash. The fried rice was also bad and seemed old. The only thing decent was the California roll but even it wasn't fresh the cucumber was mushy. It was expensive too since they raised prices and not worth it. Won't be going back! Date 9/28/21 don't recommend. Sucks there's no good Chinese in our area I'll have to travel to Towson to Szechuan house. (The sauce hides the hard chicken in the picture but I did my best to show it)."
