Reviews of Liberty Mountain Resort
"Clearly, it's a quantity over quality crush tbh. The nice restaurant (not the cafeteria-style one, the table service lodge one) was a good value, but, again, a crush. Literally chairs sit back-to-back touching, we rotated 1 chair into aisle in order to not squeeze into person behind."
"Beautiful lodge, great service and delicious food. The staff was very accommodating to us for a family ski vacation with 21 of us participating. Great time! Kids loved the pool. I used the fitness room. Spa was closed. Breakfast included in rooms - buffet style (potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage and diy toast, yogurt, mixed fresh fruit, cereals, unlimited coffee)"
"We came up on Friday when the kids were out of school. It was a perfect convenient day. The drive was easy and we parked so close no one complained. There was no wait at the lifts and plenty of room to sit if you aren’t on the mountain. The skiing is what you can expect but everything else made it worth it for a day trip."
"This place is for adults and children who are first learning to ride. The entire slope is packed with people with no experience. They teach classes and have ski teams out there at the same time. I’d say there are more children under age 15 than adults here. The classes will stop halfway down the runs and just have 20 people taking up 3/4th of the space around a random turn. I wish that there had been a single slope open that was not being taught on. But they were teaching on every single one. I left at noon it was so bad. This is a good place to bring a young family but thats really it"
"The lines weren’t very long and the people were very friendly. There were many different slopes that were good for all different levels. The snow from the machines blowed in our faces and was very cold so I suggest bringing a ski mask or something to cover your face. Liberty offered snowboarding, skiing, and tubing. They also had a cafe with amazing hot chocolate and had a pizzeria. The lifts often stopped for a few seconds but quickly went back on track. Liberty had lots of varieties of snowboards, skis, helmets, and skiing poles as well as skiing and snowboarding boots. Liberty was an amazing experience and definitely one I will remember."
