"Mr. Wood looked high, on every visit. Eyes bulged out, and attempted to force myself into an affidavit, last minute and sign. RED FLAG. I would have lost visitation in a family matter if I wasn’t smart enough to realize how little effort he put into my case. Long story short, I fired him. In the beginning, he refused to give me documentation, until I pressed the fact he was paid and could not withhold documentation. Mr. Wood attempted to fight the facts, and eventually caved. Long story short, Mr. Wood was conveying I’d never see my child, especially overnight. I hired a more experienced family lawyer after dealing with him. I NOW have parenting time, weekends, overnights, and future mediation to parent. Mr. Wood, is not by far experienced enough to deal with family matters. Especially spilling thousands of dollars, in the hope he would represent his clients as promised. Mr. Wood will read this, and have some sort excuse, I imagine. Fact of the matter, his demeanour and obvious behaviour of substance abuse had myself fire him. Best decision I’ve made. Being sober and clean, I hope this does not happen to anyone else. He WILL judge you, before you even hit your court date. Don’t pay upfront until you see what kind of individual conveys they will “ represent you” Overpaid for the experience."
