"Went over to grab lunch. The ladies in there must not have felt like waiting on customers. Wasted 10 minutes of my lunch just waiting. Made eye contact said excuse me was completely ignored. Safeway needs to either retrain or stop putting people in there that don't want to work. Or just keep hot foods closed"

"The Safeway in Middletown is okay. You definitely pay for the convenience of not driving into Frederick. It's a good place to stop and pick up daily staples but a full on shopping trip will get pricey. If you use the app you can take some of the sting out of it. The staff is generally pleasant and helpful. The store itself is pretty clean but can be chaotic in the mornings since restocking is still going on and the aisles can be tight. The stock rotation can be spotty. It's best to double check the "use by" dates on perishable items."

"So we went to safeway to pick up a platter and it was not ready.. the young ladie said she text her supervisor the change.. well let's just sat that Rory and Joanne said give me a hr and it will be ready..we came back and sure enough.. these 2 employees went way beyond to get it done.. please praise these 2.."

"Store itself seemed fine. Everything was the that you would want to find, though it was all crammed in tight. Felt a little claustrophobic. Still, seems clean and products looked on par with what is expected of this chain. What really bothered me was the state of their women's restroom. It was a mess (picture included) and the toilet paper rolls were just lying out and the sink was broke. You couldn't use the faucet. They left some hand sanitizer on the back of the toilet to counter that at least."
