Reviews of Sushi Queen
"The service was fast, and staff members were great. Sushi choices were awesome and priced right. Great options for non-sushi lovers. The facility is clean and family-friendly."
"If you’re reading this, choose another place. I’m looking out for your well being. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever eaten in my life. The chicken was white!!!!! The FDA needs to investigate this establishment asap. My stomach couldn’t stop making noises for three hours."
"Went in for lunch on Friday. There are many selections for the sushi and others. The service was good. You order your selections w.waitress, then they bring it to the table. The lomein, beef w.vegetables are OK, avoid if I come back. Sushi is good, fresh."
"The last time my wife and I ate here was in 2021 and we did not enjoy the experience as the taste of the sushi were mediocre just straight boring. We decided to come back 2 years later now 6/29/2023 and guess what, it's still stuck in mediocrity. It's unfortunate because we thought that when it was still sushi king from the early 2010s that's when it was good. $26 per person isn't cheap by this standards. Just spend a good $50 on premium sushi elsewhere. The only one we really enjoyed was the miso soup and that's even bland and a little watered down. We had the shrimp tempura appetizer and crab Rangoon, they were 6/10. We had the shrimp fried rice and its definitely a 1/10. The rice is literally not fried and it was extremely bland and it had penny size boiled shrimp. For sushi, we had: las vegas roll (not pictured) shrimp tempura roll, spider roll, volcano roll, Ola roll (not pictured) and the sushi queen roll (not pictured. They were ALL mediocre to say the least if anything bad. It's just extremely basic sushi. Check out the volcano roll from the picture I included, the meat is literally miniscule compared to the amount of rice it has. Also you can't get half of the order if you just want to try out different options. I think it's because everything is pre made and they don't want you trying out everything but instead get full from the option you chose. This place is literally serving sushi like how it's served in Chinese buffets, cold, bland, boring, basic and tasteless. PS to all those people who gave this restaurant great reviews, I pity you guys because you probably eat boiled chicken with no seasoning and rave about it as if a chef made it -_-"
"Very rarely do I run across a buffet that you can just sit down with a group of people and not have to have people jumping up and down all the time in different intervals to go get food at the buffet line. I was fortunate to have one of my family members bring us here and it was much better than one would expect for a Buffet. First of all the server came early on and asked for appetizers, entree’s and side orders. We definitely had a diverse group from kids wanting chicken nuggets to others wanting exotic sushi. Not once did we ever need to get up or leave our seats to get anything other than to use the restrooms which by the way were clean. The quality of the food was what like one might expect at a more upscale non buffet restaurant. We particularly liked the Hibachi Shrimp or Steak. The shrimp prawns on a stick were also amazing. So much made to order sushi just was so fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the price."
