"Everything is cool never too packed, but I primarily bought a membership to play basketball here and the court can get pretty slippery. I wish they would wax the court so they wouldn’t have to worry about it. The pool is great, work out rooms are not so big. I wish the place was bigger but not their fault. Staff is friendly overall 3.5."
"I went for a week and everyday the court was dusty and slippery. I could literally see dust balls in the corners of the gym and when wiping my hand on the court my finger tips were visible dusty. Idk if the dust comes from the air vents or they just don’t clean their court. If they clean the courts please do a better job or even allow people to clean it themselves with a janitor broom. Please fix this problem someone can get hurt."
"My rating is based off the basketball court. The court is super dusty and slippery. It should be done at least twice a week if not every morning. Someone will get eventually get really hurt. Please fix."
"Just to let anyone know who has the fitness your way plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield that this YMCA is probably the only one who doesn't accept this membership or welcome you. When I inquired with the management I was told they basically don't need our business. They don't need memberships that bad. That is what I was told. They are very unfriendly. Most YMCA's and every single gym in the area. Takes this membership as members we pay for this membership. And every time we swipe, they get paid. But for some reason, they're not interested in us,what a shame. But the YMCA in Carbondale and Pittston does accept. Just as most do across the United States, just to let everyone know."
"I'm getting ready to join a new gym, and the YMCA was my first stop. The ladies at the front desk seemed helpful and answered all my questions. Then they did a walk thru with me to show me all the different services the YMCA offers. They have a pool, whirle pool, steam room, heavy weight room with all the different machines for chest, legs and back. Also another room filled with all different kinds of machines. Also they have a indoor track to run or walk. If you are into sports, they do have a basketball gym, and spin classes. What I was interested in, but it's not yet there, soon they said, is the virtual golf simulator. They have a big parking lot, so never looking for a spot. Seems pretty clean, and they do offer lockers and towels for fees. I would recommend this YMCA. It's right off the highway 81, so if you travel it's a quick stop. Also the prices are very affordable, I would do the family packages because they get you a better deal."
