"I have had a horrible experience dealing with this law firm, and Mr. lips paralegal. Everything has been out of whack. I’ve been ready to settle for almost 8 months and I’m just now starting the settlement process which is super annoying because I was never told that I had other options for doctor care, now I am stuck with an injury that I will most likely end up, paying for out-of-pocket in the future. This was not a good experience at all to be honest it felt worse than the car accident because of the lack of care. Also, beware of hidden fees that were never discussed until settlement."
"I was referred to Zachery at WGL by a friend of mine when someone used me as their brakes at a stop light and I am glad I did. I would have appreciated over-communication in my case, but regardless they got me the care I needed and the highest possible outcome for me. I'm appreciative of their involvement and representation. You definitely need all the support you can get when you involve insurance companies and others involved, feeling grateful for their services."
"Unfortunately, I believe that I made a serious error in retaining WGL as my attorneys after a semi truck hit me on the interstate. I had never needed an attorney, and I should have done more research, but they came recommended after I called a number I'd seen on the television in the Emergency Room. While the paralegals were nice enough, in the 6 months since retaining WGL, I was NEVER ONCE contacted by an attorney from the firm about ANY aspect of my case. Several times, I had to do an "Is there anybody out there?" email just to see if they were still in business. A week ago, after a month of no contact, I received on my phone an email with Docusign documents labeled "Medicare", and the paralegal's instructions to "sign this". Sandwiched in the middle was a boiler plate-looking "settlement" that seemed more like a paltry buyoff to avoid trial than an equitable offer. I signed it-admittedly without reading it, my fault- not recognizing it as a settlement, but thinking it was Medicare-related. Once I got to my laptop (my eyesight was affected by the accident), I determined what it actually was. I have only myself to blame, but nothing in the documents' description mentioned anything other than "Medicare". There was no previous notice whatsoever from anyone at WGL that negotiations were going on, no information in the email regarding my options as to refusal to sign or continuance of negotiations, just instructions to "sign this". It's too late for me to do anything but learn from my mistake. I hope this review will keep someone from making a similar costly and emotionally-devastating error. The choice of an attorney is the life or death of your case. Maybe WGL is the group for you, perhaps not. But please, do some research before you pick an attorney just because of big settlement numbers on a website or an ad on television. Edit after WGL reply: How sadly ironic that an attorney at the firm would wish to call me after this Google review, but no WGL attorney contacted me about my case in the 6 months I retained them. I suppose that priorities will tell. After subsequently speaking with the attorney, I'm afraid no more is "made right" than was before we spoke. Best wishes on your litigation efforts."
"Updating my review because I understand good things take time. I am beyond satisfied with the settlement Zachary was able to get me! I will continue working with them in the future if necessary and recommend others! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!"
"I usually use Attorney Richard Klein aka "Big Al" for my accidents cases but they wouldn't take my case for the various reasons. (1) The guy that hit me had Allstate and for some reason everyone is scared of Allstate. I have Geico. (2) The called it an accident in which there's no true proof on whose telling the truth. Story: While driving in NE part of DC, I was hit when a vehicle ran the stop sign. He admitted to not paying attention, but when the police came he changed his story. Lucky for me the incident happend by a high school. The security guard in high school caught the accident and told me the high school would have tape. When I called Attorney Big Al, he wouldn't take my case even though I told them about the school having the tape they weren't willing to get the tape. I called other law firtms before getting a hold of Lipp, and nobody would help me get the security footage to prove my case. I called Lipp's and told him about the incident and gave him the number to the security department in the school. He worked his magic... took it upon himself to get the tape and prove that I was not at fault. I received my settlement this week and I'm grateful. Keep in mind that the process takes long when you're dealing with a powerhouse Insurance company like Allstate. Trust the process, and go with the team that's willing to go the extra mile."
