"Such a wonderful experience starting the moment we pulled onto the property! There is so much already provided for you (board games, plenty of firewood and starters, long-leashes for your dogs) so you don't have to pack much. The fact that this space is 100% dog friendly makes it that much more amazing. Recommend to any and everyone!"

"We have stayed at the Pond and Perch three times and can easily say it is our favorite dog friendly getaway from NYC. The property has everything! Woods, fields, ponds and river access…what more could you want? There is plenty of adventure to be found on the 50 acres that you never need to leave. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities to cook, play and relax. The fire pit is a great end to the day with some friends listening to the frogs chirp and star gazing. And to top it all, the owners are a pleasure and really care about their guests having an enjoyable time. You can tell they have put a lot of love into everything on the property and it makes the experience that much better. We are already planning another trip back soon."

"Pond and Perch is the perfect home-away-from-home getaway!! It exceeded all of our expectations and I couldn’t say more great things about the house, property, and communication with the host! We followed every trail on the property map to find the thoughtfully-placed chairs, loved our morning walks around the property, enjoyed kayaks on the pond, sat for hours by the River watching the wildlife, and enjoyed a fire at night under the stars. The entire home has everything you could want or need, especially the kitchen! It is a dog friendly stay and has so many details throughout for furry family members. We plan to make Pond and Perch our annual family getaway!"
