"HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!I hired this law firm sometime in 2022 to represent me in a very complex custody modification. To keep costs down I initially met with the attorney once for initial consultation and afterwards other associates or paralegal professionals. My first indication that this would be a horrible experience began with bills for document filings, reviews, and frequent case meetings. The firm requested a copy of the VA order and I sent within a timely manner. The order was an official copy and signed on the back. Due to the case being transferred to MD, not one person took the time to turn over order to see that it was signed and stamped on back. This went on for a few months before a correction and apology was made. No accountability blamed it all on the court clerk. Next, an order was submitted to hold other party in contempt. Order denied because the documents to even transfer case to Maryland were filed incorrectly. Next, the lead attorney went on maternity leave without notification. After I complained, they notified me formally in writing and assigned a new attorney. Next, a plan for several motions to be entered were all denied. Attorneys and paralegals stated the courts do not tell them why an order is denied. Next, the attorney leaves the firm and they replace her with another one. Next, the firm makes several attempts to serve other party to no avail he evades and cant be served. They put in motion from alternate service it was denied. No explanation as to why. Attorney calls to say maybe you can find the other party and get someone to serve him. Meanwhile its now 2023, and they are still charging and doing a lot of nothing to advance this case. Last week I receive a bill for 2,00plus dollars and I'm stunned. This law firm really needs an overhaul. I would have rather not wasted my time or monies paid than to deal with this level of incompetence. This is my personal experience it may not be yours. I do not recommend. To date I have not seen my girls since October of 2021. I wouldnt mind getting together with anyone else who hired this firm to sue. "I will come back and update my experience once I correct the major issues from having this firm represent me in my custody case. Update: I filed a grievance complaint against this firm. Especially after seeing that there are other former clients that went through the exact same thing. It is one thing to follow the law and actually care about clients and their best interest but when you are solely money motivated and the service is not up to par with the billing, that is where I have an issue. Dealing with this firm made my situation. Worse than what is was. I made more stride representing and advocating for my child than this firm ever did and that is the saddest part that they were referred to me. I stand firmly that this was the worst firm to represent my unique custody situation and wish I could get my 15k back. Zero stars is not even enough"
