"I usually only post good reviews, but I feel like this negative experience should be put out there to warn others. I scheduled an appointment well in advance for 10:30am for a synthetic oil change. I arrived on time and they had me sitting there for 2 hours. I'm a pretty patient person when it comes to stuff like this, but I've never had to wait 2 hours for an oil change that was scheduled in advance, so I asked if everything was okay. They took another 15 minutes to get back to me saying they were going to bring my car into the shop just then. Again, 2 hours after my arrival at my scheduled appointment time. That seems pretty ridiculous to me. I could completely understand that if I was a walk-in...but to have me sitting there for 2 hours past my time and not even bother to let me know what was going on at any point is unacceptable. So, just keep in mind that if you have anything to do on the day of your choosing to schedule an appointment, you're going to want to go somewhere else or clear any other plans for that day if you choose to stick with this shop."

"Nice staff, but took extremely long on my tire installation. Came in at roughly 1, (my appointment was for 2:30 but I called ahead and they said I could come early) and was not done until 4:30. I understand I came early, but they could have simply told me that I should just come in at the scheduled time instead of giving false hope that it would be done promptly."

"Well this may be the best review I've ever given and for obvious reasons after reading my experience...so heading to JFK Airport this morning- how's the saying go? Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... well that's exactly what happened today - The only good thing is that this Pep Boys location managed to stop the wrong in its tracks. Our back right tire decides 30 minutes into our drive that it's going to blow...so there we were stuck on the side of the highway, with only 2.5 hours to get to the airport and make our flight. We contacted the closest Pep Boys- this business location on Street Road. Keith in Service Dept quickly answered the phone, confirms they have time and the tire to get us to the airport, and we get there in 10 min. In less than 40 minutes total time in and out- quick, efficient and super helpful. The location is conveniently located, plenty of in stock tires available and mechanics are hard at work cranking out business. Kudos to Keith for moving swiftly and we made our flight too!"
