"Great Tourist Spot if you love architecture"
"Lovely employees. The tickets were less expensive in person then they were online. We got the interior and tower tour for $35 per person. Students can get the tour for $26. Visitors can purchase the ticket and then wait in one of the seats for the tour to start. The tour starts on the outside and people are there for about 15 minutes listening to talk about the architect and architecture. Then the tour group moves inside where we go through an airport like security line."
"After living in Philly for years, I finally did this excellent City Hall tour when a friend from Boston was visiting. Our tour guide, local historian Ralph Marano, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. How the guard squeezed our 11 bodies into the tiny elevator to the top was a logistical marvel. The 365 degree view of Philadelphia and close-up looks at the Billy Penn statue were just some highlights. Aside from doing jury duty, this is the best way to get behind the scenes into government offices and meeting areas. I recommend getting tickets in advance to reserve a spot. Also, allow extra time to find the Visitor Center, which is tucked away."
"The City Hall and Visitor Center were great places to visit. The architecture of the city hall was great and the workers at the visitor center were helpful."
"Make sure this is on your list of stops for those interested in history, architecture, and sculpture. Beautiful work of art in a building! Couldn't get get enough, I could spend a whole day with this building."
