"I love my Land Rover and they keep it running. Great place if you have an old LR and don't want to take it to the dealer."
"Awesome place. I'm writing this after visiting this place twice. First time he did a great job with various fixes/repairs at a reasonable price. Second time was especially good as well. He had a loaner car available and allowed me to use it while he was working on my truck. I love the fact that he is enthusiastic and very knowledgable about Land Rovers in general and offers free advice a lot of the time. I've done a lot of work myself on my LR3 so a lot of it definitely comes in handy, but sometimes I'll take it here for a job that looks a little too complicated and time sensitive."
"I inherited a ‘65 Jag XKE and classic Land Rover in need of extensive restoration, knowing nothing about cars. The best repair shop in Princeton/Hopewell wouldn’t touch them and recommended George’s crew. They proved exceptionally trustworthy, skilled and well-stocked with hard-to-source parts. They saved me money by replacing seats and a bumper from other vehicles on the lot, which, btw, is amazing to wander through: It’s practically a museum of classic cars in varying stages of restoration. George spent a couple of hours over several weeks explaining to me the economics of restoration, advising me on options, and assisting me with title issues. He was straightforward about how costs could careen far above his initial quote, depending on what he finds. Indeed, I paid more than double his initial quote on the Land Rover, and he checked with me before fixing any of the additional problems he found. I went over the invoice with a fine-tooth comb, and he literally didn’t overcharge me a penny for labor or parts during the peak of the national supply chain / labor crisis. The truck now looks and drives beautifully after having been very rough when I towed it in. I highly recommend Authorized for detailed communication, a remarkable knowledge bank (George grew up in the business and has recruited top talent.), and a charming, enjoyable experience that put me at my ease."
"I brought my 91 Range Rover Classic to George to have it looked at because it wasn't starting after it warmed up. After needing the distributor rebuilt it was up and running. Great communication through the entire repair. I recently purchased a LR4 from him as well. He meticulously serviced this vehicle since it had 30k on it, it now has 160k. Any questions I had about the history of the vehicle he provided thorough answers, he had nothing to hide. I have personally looked at some of the vintage Jaguars and Land Rovers he is restoring currently...I'm telling you clean neat work down the proper bolt specs. My opinion... Authorized Imports is where you want to go if you want work done right by a group of talented technicians that pay attention to details."
"Authorized Imported Cars is the only place to go if you own a Land Rover. Since purchasing my 2002 P38 nearly 3 years ago, this has been the only place that I would trust. In fact, I bought my lovely range site unseen from Oregon and after having had several conversations with the owner, George Hughes, I had the truck delivered directly to him for review and service. Since that time, George has gone over and above to make this truck 100%. George has always been fair, honest and reasonable. In fact, it is often George who stops me from doing things that are over the top. I trust him implicitly. Stories of being ripped off or dissatisfied are likely owners who thing these vehicles are as cheap to maintain as a Toyota. They are complex cars that need special skills and knowledge and that can translate into money. George is always upfront and honest."
