"Nice place for a getaway! Cool historic house and location. We had a great time and the house suited the needs of our trip. Great to wake up in the morning to the sunrise views on the dock. Also had the chance to rent bikes and explore one of the local islands"

"didnt have the greatest experience here, there was no kayak eventho the listing said there would be one. Doorknobs were broken, toilet seats were loose, bugs bugs bugs, there were even bugs in the showers! Flies everywhere once we entered (guess the fly traps were left for a reason). Great location, but super outdated house. House utilizes water from a well that could not be used for drinking or cooking, water smelled when showering. For the price it was alright but Im sure there are better rentals in the area."

"Beautiful, historic home in a very private, unique location. Owner provided lots of history of the house in a scrapbook. Surrounded by water on 3 sides. Great sunsets. Owners need to consider a new cleaning service and the house needs some maintenance. Rusty grate across porch door that snagged a couple of us. Broken step. Updated description needed on VRBO and airbnb."
