"It's really ugly the way they try to rip you off here. They say the menu prices have changed and use that as an excuse to try to give you as little as possible for as much as they can charge. Why can't they print new menus if the prices have changed? I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I feel like I have to give a bad review as an obligation because of how stingy and dishonest they are here. It's very dishonest and on the level of thievery to try and charge people absurdly high prices and then hope customers won't notice when they're not even given all the food that they've been overcharged for. If there's any justice in the universe, this place will go out of business because of all the customers they've ripped off here."

"Getting a pizza at Vera's renewed my faith in humanity. All of my credit cards kept declining which didn't make any sense because all of my cards have money on them. I asked how much was the pizza so that I could go to the ATM and the husband and wife team (owners) said don't worry about it, just pay it on Monday. Wow! These people didn't know me from a can of worms. Have never met or seen me before. I was speechless! How beautiful! I did end up going to the ATM but I was so touched. The pizza is absolutely delicious and the owners are two of the best people I've ever met. So get your food at Vera's! You won't be disappointed."

"Quick update: owner just called me back, the female, asking if I still want my food. I said no, I cancelled the order, and she starts YELLING at me and saying she was trying to be nice by calling back and offering but never mind now. Hopefully they’re not in business too much longer. Good food but each time we order, which are the same exact two items, a medium pepperoni pizza and a steak calzone, the price goes up. Tonight the total was $34 before tip! The guy argued with me even though I told him it's the same exact items I've always ordered, and then hung up on me. Needless to say we won't order from there again."

"I have been dining at Vera's for years. Vera has the best chicken cheese steak, made with real chicken. The pizza is delicious also and as another reviewer mentioned, my food has never been cold. Great quality service! Recently they have been overcharging according to whom you are. I was charged, $14.95 for a beef pepperoni pizza. This establishment has lost my business completely."
