"Charged me $2100 and did not do anything helpful at all. I thought the name was funny and the founder's words very meaningful and I thought I should try it out. I wanted to buy a dental office through help from them. They did not even know if I can do that as a foreigner after $2100 charge for no reason. (They repeat to ask a same question, they did not know PA will allow a non-dentist own a practice) As we heard it differently from a consunsel of us(She was also a famous lawyer but not in this field) and we did our own homework instead. Save your money and be away from them. I am now dispute the fee withi them, they did not make a phone call as they promised, whatever they promised, it cannot be done. What a rust and belt. I heard there founder's service were great. But as far as I know, it just sucks. I will have to maybe visit their office for this dispute or maybe file a claim to the BAR. Pay someone $2100 for nothing is just ridiculous. A guy did not do their work should not get paid, even though it is not a lot of money, it is just not RIGHT. We only pay when it is reasonable and logically. instead of some robbery. This case happened in 2024, do not work with them. I will update my review if they did correct their error. Updated, refund me $1450 and talked to Mr. WIlliam. Well, he seems much more care than his employee. As a 20s years old young guy who owns a small business and a dental office soon. I know his frustration upon his employee. Though Mr. William is decent but we have to be fair, we got charged and none of our business had done. So, I cannot just say it is now a positive review. Just some suggestions, 1. Ensure they let you know the assigned lawyer's field, only hire professional in your category. (We get a professional in International Business for a dental acquisition which is so weird. 2. Ensure your lawyer's hourly rate and how they charge hourly. 3. Do you own homework not rely on your lawyer only, even if you paid them, your effort will be counted still. 4. Find an attoney who can meet locally instead of some folks work remotely in CA or FL. Good luck, everyone. Thank you again Mr. William, but here is my edit afterwards. Good day."
"Updated 09/27/2023: I recently posted a review expressing displeasure with the service I received from this law firm. The owner Adam, took it upon himself to personally reach out to me and discuss my experience in depth (good, bad, what could of been different, why). He then proceeded to offer me additional insight that would lead me to the answers I felt didn’t initially get during my experience and has went above and beyond to put myself and my family at ease with this commitment we made from months ago with his firm. He genuinely cares about his customers and how his firm interacts with their clients. I would say if you have any issues with their team, definitely reach out to Adam as he will do his best to make sure the experience is the one you expected! Original: Communication was very seldom and relied on me reaching via email or call multiple times before hearing back on EVERY instance. I have documented 4 emails from the lawyer who was assigned to me over a course of 3 months; with 1 initial 10 minute zoom call with him at the start of my contract agreement. I paid for the business essentials package (smallest one), and got virtually nothing that is listed in the contract agreement. I spent $2250.00 over the course of 3 months to do my own research, find my own answers, and personally contact the local agencies I needed to in order to complete my goals and answers for compliance with the law. I would have been better off saving the money and just learning from my own mistakes. I made all my payments on time and just now am getting contacted a month after my contract is expired/completed asking if everything was completed regarding my case. I had Matt as my lawyer and he left in the middle of my contract and I was notified by a mass email generated weeks after I last heard from Matt. If you go through all the 1-star reviews for this company they seem to revolve around the lawyer I had. I’m not saying everyone here is terrible to work with, and the firm does have great reviews which is why I chose to invest my limited business knowledge and money in them. I just got the short end of the stick in my instance and wasted a couple thousand dollars in my experience trying to hire business lawyers to help start my ventures legally and correct from the start. I 100% regret this decision."
"Adam, Jackie and the whole team at Rust Belt Business Law rock. Could not recommend more highly. They have been a tremendous help in my business journey thus far."
"Adam and his team are truly great at what they do and make sure to take care of you. From the friendly smiling faces as you walk through the front door - to the honest, yet compassionate advice. If you want someone who will treat you like family, but be blunt when they have to... Rust Belt Business Law is where you want to go."
"If you are a business owner I cannot recommend Rust Belt Business Law enough. Working with Matt McGeehan, Adam Williams, Ryan Avione, Amy Weir and the entire team has been nothing short of critical to my company's ongoing success. Whether its our dealings in Erie, Pennsylvania or overall business guidance from Adam and team on different aspects of our operations - it has been invaluable experience every step of the way. If you are hesitant to work with a legal firm because you have had a bad experience in the past or have been warned by others who have, I guarantee Rust Belt Business Law will change your perspective. They are friendly, attentive, responsive and always looking out for their clients - 5 stars all the way!"
